I'm sure you have all heard by now- We are going to have a baby! This is how we announced to my family. I thought it'd be a fun idea to have a number for each of the kids- the kids had a lot of fun coloring and cutting them out. And I put a little number 4 on my stomache. Summer was the first one to see and she caught on right away and screamed. She was so excited and shocked. My mom came running in the room to see what was going on and she got a little emotional. It was a very fun, happy, time. As I am sure this is the last announcement I will ever make like this I am soaking it all in. It is always so fun to announce another baby. We are really happy and excited for this baby. We are a little scared and nervous about the pregnancy and the chaos of adding another addition to our lives, but overall the happy feeling outweighs any other feeling.
When I gathered the kids around us to tell them, Will was really excited. His eyes lit up and of course he wants a brother so he started talking about that right away. Adalynn wanted to see it, and I told her she can't see it b/c it's in my tummy. I explained to them how it was very small right now, and it needs to grow before they can see it. I told them how it will get bigger and bigger and my tummy will grow and get bigger too, and when my tummy is really big then the baby will be ready to come out. The next morning Will said my tummy was bigger.... haha... I think it really is already, even though the baby is only the size of a sesame seed. lol
