So here goes.
Let's start with Will... my funny boy. He sure makes us laugh. Here's a picture of him with a tail. haha. It's a necklace that broke and he got the idea to make a tail. He had that thing on for a long time! He thought it was so funny, and he kept on talking and talking and talking about his tail.
Will has two friends that are pretty constanly by his side (actually in his arms): Winnie the Pooh and Donkey. He has to have them everywhere with him! He sleeps with them, then in the morning he runs with them out of his room, and they sit in their own chair at the table when we eat, they watch TV with him, go on car rides with him (he knows to leave them in the car when we arrive at our destination though), anyway- you get my point. It is pretty funny. He sure loves them. So thank you grandma for Pooh and Grandpa for Donkey. Here's a picture of him cuddling on the rocking chair with them.
Some other funny stories about Will:
The other day he was drawing, and he asked me if I wanted him to draw him a picture of something. I was a little distracted when I responed and said something like "mmmhmmm or yeah" and he said "Can you say 'Yes, please.'?"
I just had to laugh! And then I said yes, please. I'm glad what we're teaching him is rubbing off!
The other day Adalynn was sitting on the floor, and Will walked over to her, bent down and gave her a nice hug. Then he said "Mommy, I'm hugging Adalynn. Can you take a picture?"
Will has this bus we got him for his birthday, and he gets in that thing and he can drive anywhere! He has such a good imagination! So the other day he got in his bus and he said "mommy, I'm going to the hundred acre wood. I'm going to take Pooh home." I had no idea he remembered that Pooh's house was in the Hundred Acre Woods. He is so smart and funny.
He does funny things all the time, but that's all for now.
Here's a couple pictures of Adalynn.
She is a climber lately! She loves to climb onto (or in this case into) whatever she can. And then she gets really proud of herself.
Here's her in Tessa's bouncer. She's a little big for it but she's small, so I figure it's OK, and she loves to sit in that thing!
I love to see her personality! She is so fun.
OK, now here's what some of you have been waiting for. Tessa is about a month old now, and she is already changing. Newborns grow and change so fast! Tessa was 7'7 when she was born and at her 2 week check up she weighed 8'11! She is doing great. She's a really good eater, and she is starting to sleep longer at night. She sleeps in her own room and goes 4-6 hours inbetween feedings at night. It is so nice. I think she is going to be one of our best sleepers! And she really doesn't cry much. She is a good baby. We love her.
And you thought it was over... lol. Just One more thing! We read stories every night (and many times during the day as well), and sometimes I will read to one kid and Billy will read to the other, but lately when I sit down to read to Will, Adalynn crawls on over into my lap and wants to be in on story time too. It is kind of nice reading to both at the same time, and I just thought the pictures were so cute. I love how they want to all be together. I thought I'd just put these in a slideshow, b/c some of them kind of tell a story. There's a group of pictures where Billy's reading to the kids, and without any prompting Will just puts his arms around Adalynn and gives her a hug, and then Adalynn gave him a kiss! They did that on their own! It was so cool to watch it unfold. And then you see Adalynn leaning and kind of falling into Will. They both thought it was funny, and they were just acting so loving! I loved it!
