"I can't let them get to me." I say as I slowly go crazy!

Someday I hope Will has a son who
*talks baby talk even though he's been talking really well for a long time now.
*does the opposite of what I say or just lays there and does nothing until I have to get after him
*laughs or smiles when he's gettting reprimanded
*goes soooo slow when I ask him to get in the car or clean up. He gets way too distracted, "Mommy whats this?" "Mommy, look at this.", etc. etc. I have to practically bite my tongue to not say hurry over and over again.

Someday I hope Adalynn has a daughter who
*cries and clings to her mommy when a stranger gets too close
*Cries when her brother follows her around like he's scaring her or something
*Wants things a certain way and gets very upset when the order is thrown off
*Is all DRAMA!

Someday I hope Tessa has a daughter who
*SCREAMS at the top of her lungs (just to hear her voice) even when she's happy.
*tries to eat everything
*Will not stay still more than a minute for a diaper change.
*pulls hair and pinches (grabs fists full of skin)

I wonder if our parents had days like this?

Somedays I feel like I am going to loose it and just snap. I have times where Adalynn and Tessa are both crying and won't stop. They both just cry and cry and maybe one of them would stop but the fact that her sister is crying just makes her want to keep crying. Sometimes I hold both of them at the same time and they still are cranky. And Will! I am realizing that 3 is a really hard stage! He is old enough to know whats right and wrong and he knows that he needs to mind so I think that's why I don't have patience for him. He knows better! When is he going to learn??????

OK, now to end on a funny note. We saw something today that totally cracked us up! Haha, it was so funny.
OK, Will was watching TV, and he had to go to the bathroom. Then all the sudden we see this:



Oh, I also hope that my kids someday have kids that even though they may drive them crazy and make them so mad, they love them more than life itself, so much that they actually cry thinking of how much they love them, so much so that they could melt from a terrific hug from a precious little girl, or overflow with joy just watching a baby sleeping in your arms. Who would've thought that it could make you sooo unbeliavably happy to get your baby after she wakes up from a nap- to see that she thinks your the most terrific person in the whole world and she can't stop smiling and squealing w/ delight just upon seeing your face... or to hear your little boy out of the blue say "I love you."

Don't you just wanna KISS those cheeks? Oh, I just want to kiss them all day long. :) And she has such a nice laugh now too. Sometimes when I kiss her cheeks or neck she just laughs! It makes me so happy to hear a baby's laugh.
So as you can see she can sit up by herself now! She is getting really good at crawling and likes to crawl all around the house. Now we have to remember to keep the bathroom door closed. I found her one day in the bathroom pulling herself up into a kneeling position w/ the toilet. So I had to wash her real good and tell everyone we need to remember to keep that door closed.
But I sure love when they get to this stage. I know most people would rather have them crawl later b/c there's less to worry about, but I love it. She doesn't want to be held nearly as much anymore, she just wants to get down and explore so it's great. And it's so cute watching her crawl around the house. She can sit up pretty good from a crawling position too.
How did she get so big so fast? What happened?
Oh she also has 2 little teeth coming in.

A day in the life of...

So yesterday, I put Adalynn's hair up, and I thought she looked pretty cute so I got the camera out and then pretty much snapped pictures for about 1/2 a day. At first it was b/c I wanted 1 good smiling picture of Adalynn- Just ONE, but she kept moving so fast, it was hard to get a good picture. I had fun taking lots of pictues of the kids though. Here's a few:

Me- "Will can you look at the camera and say Cheese?"
Will- "Cheese" (still playing- can't stop to look)
Me- "can you look at the camera?"
Will- "I'm SO busy."

New beds for the kids

First of all, Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband, Billy! 6 years ago today I was the luckiest bride ever to marry such an awesome man. These last 6 years have been wonderful because he was by my side. I would be lost without him. He is my best friend and I feel like I could never spend too much time with him. He is such a great dad and husband (and person) and I am still such a lucky lady to have him in my life.
My parents were so nice, and watched our kids last night. Thankfully, it seems the kids were happy and acting like themselves last night. So it was nice to just go out and enjoy ourselves and not worry. We had such a good date last night! It was so good to get out and have a nice long date. We went to Carabas- that place is nice! The environment was romantic, the service was wonderful, the food was good, and the company was even better. Then we saw Bedtime Stories with Adam Sandlar. That was a good movie. It was funny. So it was a really nice night.

OK, on another note. All 3 kids recently grew out of their beds. Sounds kind of funny, it more happened over time but just recently it starting seeming kind of urgent to get them into bigger beds. Will was still in a toddler bed w/ a railing and it just seemed too small for him- we were thinking he didn't need the railing anymore. Adalynn was still in her crib and I think she was starting to really dislike not having the freedom to get out of that little jail when she would see Will climb out of bed every morning. And Tessa had a playpen that slowly started bowing in the middle until it just seemed like she would kinda get stuck and not be able to move like she wanted to. It just didn't seem that safe or comfortable.
SO we got bunk beds! We love them! We all do. We've been wanting bunk beds for the kids for awhile and we were finally able to do it. Will loves climbing up the ladder and playing on his new bed. He had no problem adjusting to it.

Adalynn is on the bottom. She has adjusted pretty well... except for the first night when we found her underneath her bed on the floor. lol. I don't think she rolled off either b/c it was her first night in the bed and I think she would've cried if she rolled off. We think she got down and layed on the floor- maybe she thought it was more comfortable. Anyway, since then she has stayed in it and really seems to like it. She seems so big now that she can just walk out of her room after a nap.

And I think Tessa loves having a nice big bed to roll around in. She has plenty of room now!
